Photo Rotate App Reviews

I used this app a lot before I realized it was reducing the resolution of my pics. It cuts the file size and resolution by about 80%! There are no preference that you can set to change this. I now have to go back, try to restore my originals and find another app to do the job. Huge time waste. It’s a free app, so perhaps I shouldn’t complain, but the fact that it defaults to anything but the original resolution and file size should be noted somewhere. In that way - despite the fact that it’s free - you get LESS than what you pay for. It actually does “damage” if you overwrite your original photos. Fortunately, it won’t do this (creates a duplicate with “_1” added to the file name), but if you subsquently delete your original thinking that the rotated version can replace it, you’ll have lost your higher quality original. “Buyer” beware. My other negatives are less harsh because it is a free app: Cannot selectively save: Any files in the app will be saved, regardless if they are rotated or not. (This means that reduced resolution will also affect non-rotated pics that are selected) I had trouble opening JPEG files using the File>Open command. However, I could drag-and-drop those same files.

Very simple to use batch photo rotator, for me, its enough to rotate the photos tha I took backwards, and can rename them then share directly to my facebkk, love its simplistic design.

There are no keyboard shortcuts. Have to rotate twice for 180. Can’t save individual photos. Saves all of them.

I’m a 67 years old man. So, it is really difficult for me to spend time for learning how to use a complicate program. What I wish was a simple program very friendly so that I can make the photos rotated to the right way. And this app is just as simple as 1-2-3. It’s suitable for me!

I love that it doesnt take up a lot of space, and its simple to use. The key point is that it does its only-one trick quite well. Hmmm, great small pony!

I needed to flip some photos. The app opens a thumbnail version of the photo file, not the actual photo file itself. Useless.
